Our Math Mastery Senior Enrichment Program is for students who want to strengthen their mathematical thinking and promote success in high school mathematics courses.  Our fast-paced program teaches students fundamental concepts, including the order of operations, linear systems of equations, factoring, the quadratic formula, graphing functions, radicals, algebra, inequalities, the Pythagorean theorem, 3D geometry, factorials, and basic trigonometry.  These core concepts build the foundations in each student's mathematical thinking to promote success in high school math courses.  The perfect square and fraction addition drills regularly encourage students to build their mental math skills.  Students are evaluated through monthly unit tests and the Set 100 (individual hundred-question monthly assignment) while completing a vigorous amount of homework to promote learning outside of the classroom.  Math Mastery Senior is available for grades 5-7.  Classes run twice a week for 8 months (regular program).  Classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes in duration.  

• Core Curriculum: order of operations, linear systems of equations, factoring, quadratic formula, graphing functions, radicals, algebra, inequalities, Pythagorean theorem, 3D geometry, factorials, basic trigonometry

• Problem Solving: Set 100 (individual hundred-question monthly assignment), Challenger 10 (math assignments requiring formal solutions)

• Drill: perfect squares up to 60, fraction addition

• Assessment: unit tests, culminating task, final exam
