Our Calculus Foundations Enrichment Program is for students desiring to pursue a post-secondary degree in applied sciences.  This is a competitive program for students looking to go above and beyond and explore calculus and vectors.  The course includes major concepts of Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) and goes further exploring first year university math topics.  This course is for high-achieving students wanting to learn far beyond their peers and dive deep into the rigorous topic of calculus.  Throughout the course, students will encounter concepts including limits, derivatives, integrals, series, differential equations, continuity, vector operations, vector products, and applications.  This course emphasises self learning through individual assignments, including Try Yourself Sets (10 challenging questions going beyond the material learned in class).  The Calculus Foundations program is for students wanting to learn high school calculus and first-year university mathematics.  Calculus Foundations is available for grades 9-12.  Classes run twice a week for 8 months (regular program).  Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes in duration.  (Please ensure the student is proficient in pre-calculus before the course.  See our “Pre-Calculus Essentials ” if the student is not ready.)
